Service Alert: DC Circulator to Reinstate Service January 4, 2022

Service Alert: DC Circulator to Reinstate Service  January 4, 2022

The DC Circulator will begin service on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 7:00 am. Riders should expect some delays at the start of service as roads in the District of Columbia continue to be treated. Some areas remain hazardous due to snow and refreezing.

As road crews work to clear snow and treat roads during the evening and overnight hours, the DC Circulator will evaluate conditions and gradually restore service as it becomes safe to do so.  Delays and detours are expected, particularly on routes that operate on hills, curves, or narrow streets. Customers should allow additional travel time and limit trips to essential travel only.

The DC Circulator encourages anyone going to bus stops to use caution, as sidewalks and walkways remain slippery and may not be cleared of snow. Please notify 311 of any bus stop that needs to be cleared of snow. In areas where large amounts of snow have been plowed against street curbs, customers are advised not to stand in the street but instead wait on the sidewalk until the bus arrives.
