DC Circulator to Modify Service for the 99^th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday, December 2, 2021

The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will lead to road closures affecting the National Mall route. To accommodate the event, the following service changes will be effective on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 1:00 pm till the end of service at 7:00 pm.

The National Mall route will begin detour service at 1:00 pm with buses running the Museum Loop. This loop serves the museums along the National Mall, but will not serve the following stops along the Tidal Basin or near the Lincoln Memorial:

• 15^th SW / Jefferson Dr.
• 15^th SW near Maine Ave.
• Basin Dr. SW near Independence Ave.
• West Basin Dr. SW
• Lincoln Memorial Circle SW
• Constitution Ave. NW / 21^st
• Constitution Ave. NW / 18^th
• 15^th NW / Madison Dr.

The National Mall route will resume normal service on Friday, December 3, 2021.
