49th Smithsonian Folklife Festival

The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is an exposition of living cultural heritage annually produced outdoors on the National Mall* in Washington, DC, by the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. The 2015 festival features Peru, one of the most culturally and ecologically diverse countries in the world. The Festival will feature more than 100 Peruvian artisans and cooks, musicians and dancers, as well as artists and tradition bearers from the Peruvian American diaspora. Special evening events such as concerts and dance performances begin at 6:30 pm.
