Service Alert: Detour and Delays for the 95th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting on November 30

DC Circulator to Modify Service for National Christmas Tree Lighting Thursday, November 30

The 95th National Christmas Tree Lighting will lead to road closures affecting DC Circulator service. Heavy congestion around the event area is likely to lead to delays and extended wait times for buses on the Georgetown-Union Station, Woodley Park-Adams Morgan-McPherson Square Metro, and Dupont Circle-Georgetown-Rosslyn routes. Customers should plan for additional travel time.

On the National Mall route, the following service change will be effective on Thursday, November 30 from 1:30 pm to closing. The National Mall route will run on a Modified Museum Loop starting at 1:30 pm. This loop serves the museums along the National Mall, but turns back toward Union Station at 14th Street. This loop will not serve the following stops along the Tidal Basin or near the Lincoln Memorial:
