(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) today released the 2017 Transit Development Plan Update (TDP) for public review and comment. The public has until Friday, October 13, 2017, to weigh in on the plan.

Since 2011, DDOT has developed a comprehensive TDP to guide the growth of the Circulator System every three years. This update of the TDP was developed after review and analysis of technical data, as well as initial feedback on proposed route adjustments from the public at five outreach events and online surveys held in June 2017.

Based on the analysis of existing service, the Draft 2017 TDP identifies three route modifications and one route extension:

Short Term

Route Modification: Union Station – Navy Yard

Route Modification: Potomac Avenue – Skyland to Congress Heights

Route Modification: Georgetown – Union Station route termini

Long Term

Route Extension: Dupont – Georgetown – Rosslyn

Those who wish to review the plan and to provide comments can visit the Transit Development page on the DC Circulator website at www.dccirculator.com/tdp2017/, complete a comment form available on all DC Circulator buses, or send your comments via mail to:
