Downtown DC

The 20-block Downtown DC neighborhood is a booming commercial and entertainment district that encompasses a number of distinct smaller neighborhoods, catering to a large number of residents, visitors and employers. From museums and theaters, to some of the best restaurants in the Metropolitan Washington area, your options for dining and entertainment are seemingly endless in Downtown DC.

Accessibility is one of the driving forces behind Downtown DC's rapid growth. In addition to multiple Metro stations, two Circulator routes serve the neighborhood, connecting Downtown DC and Georgetown, Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, Foggy Bottom and Union Station, the District's Transportation hub.

To explore the Downtown DC neighborhood, and some of the smaller neighborhoods within it, such as Chinatown and Penn Quarter, take the Georgetown-Union Station route or the Woodley Park-Adams Morgan-McPherson Square route.
