UPDATE 8:15 p.m. 2/8/10
Circulator service will end Monday at 10:00 p.m. due to increasing ice on roadway surfaces.
Tuesday, service will begin at regular route hours and fare will be charged as usual. Customers should continue to expect longer waits in between buses and slower travel speeds. Also, please be extremely cautious entering and exiting buses because of snow and ice at many of the bus stops.
Customers should expect Circulator to end service early on Tuesday because of the next snowstorm to hit our region. Please keep checking dccirculator.com for updates and follow twitter.com/ddotdc for the latest information.
Detours are in effect on several routes:
Convention Center - SW Waterfront route has been detoured to turn around in Shaw on P Street instead of O Street.
Union Station - Georgetown route is using Columbus Circle in front of Union Station instead of the rear parking deck. In Georgetown buses cannot turn around at Whitehaven, so buses are not operating north of M Street. Buses are traveling westbound on lower K Street and eastbound on M Street.
Union Station - Navy Yard route is using Columbus Circle in front of Union Station instead of the rear parking deck.
